God loves us. He poured out His abundant blessings and protections for us. He is always walk side by side with us. When we are treated unfair, He Himself will avenge. We need to acknowledge that and always give thanks and praises, be content of what we have. Many times we are just take things for granted, and complaining when things didn’t go according to our plan.

God wants respect and honor for His name. He is the glorious God from the east to the west, He is God of every nation. We need to honor and respect Him by bringing our best for Him. We need to put Him first in our life, to follow His precepts and directions. we need to be His representative, so more people will be drawn to Him through our life. That’s how we honor and respect Him.

God honors covenant / promise. He is the God of covenant, God of faithfulness. He loves us and hold a covenant with us that we are His children, His creation, His precious. We need to be faithful to God, don’t do things that can carry us away from His presence. We need to be faithful to others too, especially in marriage. God won’t hear us and hold us accountable because of our unfaithfulness.

God is a fair God, God of justice. God will judge people who is unfair, people that treat other people badly. He will purge out all unfairness. He will cleanse and purify us like gold and silver purified in burning fire. We can’t say or grumble that God is unfair, that He let unfairness rampant. He will deal with things in His own way. We honor Him by being fair and caring for others.

God never change. He loved us and will always love us. We are the one that change, and God wants us to come back to Him. He wants us to trust our life to Him once again, totally surrender, in any aspect of our life. Give what belongs to God, don’t hold tight our possessions, it’s God’s blessings anyway, it’s from Him.  Trust pour possessions and money to Him, and He will surely take care of us and pouring out even more blessings, more than what we can store.

There is hope for people that cling on to God, people that Holds on to God’s law. Full of life will be given, healing, restoration, freedom..

For Your love and faithfulness (4 x)

A very simple song isn’t it? Yet very true.

I have every reason I need to be joyful. His love, blessings, protections, directions, provision, care, and faithfulness. Waking up in the morning, with a song singing in my heart, hoping for a good day ahead, blessings and more blessings came without me realizing it. A new day to live, a breathable air, comfy taxi, an office I can work in, people that I can associate with, meals which satisfy my appetite, good books that I can read, time that I can spend for prayer, three dogs that awaits me at home, and many more.

I have every reason I need to sing praise and give thanks. Well, that’s true that I still have things that I crave for, but my life and future is safe and secure in His hands.

I lost my bluebear, I told him that I will bring him to places that I will go, that’s why I tangled him on my backpack. But I lost him. I really took extra care of him, but just in a blink of the eye, I lost him. I search and search, asking BlueBird and Putra, scan around the places that I might drop my bluebear, but couldn’t find him. And then I realize, that I don’t think I will ever see him again. Maybe God has a better plan for him, maybe he is in a new mission to cheer up someone else. I hope so.

But a voice telling me.. very clear, that it’s just a warning, that actually I will lost other much more precious thing.. the person that gave me the bluebear! Sounds superstitious? Maybe.

But not until the very next day, on Saturday morning, when it happened, where in some level, I could say that I ‘lost’ my friendship with my precious friend, that I really cherish and took extra care of it. Just in a moment, we lost our comfort, security, and trust level. So overwhelming, that somehow I just couldn’t see that we will able to recover easily from it. Maybe God has a better plan, He usually has.

Lesson learned, a hurtful one..

“God, let them have enough sales today”, I prayed every time I walked pass a not so prospective tenant in Plaza Indonesia.

Does all of those prayers matter? Does it really make a difference? I know as a Christians, prayer is somehow a powerful thing that can even cast demons out.

“She is quite overloaded now Lord, just please be with and guide her”

“Be it unto them God, according to Your Word, according to Your will”

But I do admit sometimes I have these kind of doubt in my heart. Does it really matter?? But here’s the thing.. Even as, let say, only one from 1000 of my prayers do impact people’s live, I will be very happy about it, and it will only encourages me to pray more.

Devote yourself to prayer, being watchful and thankful .. Colossians 4:2

O God, be Thou exalted over my possessions. Nothing of earth’s treasures shall seem dear unto me if only Thou art glorified in my life.

Be Thou exalted over my relationships. I am determined that Thou shalt be above all, though I must stand deserted and alone in the midst of the earth.

Be Thou exalted above my comforts. Though it means the loss of bodily comforts and the carrying of heavy crosses, I shall keep my vow made this day before Thee.

Be Thou exalted over my reputation. Make me ambitious to please Thee even as a result I must sink into obscurity and my name be forgotten as a dream.

Rise O Lord, into Thy proper place of honor, above my ambitions, above my likes and dislikes, above my family, my health, and even my life itself. Let me sink that Thou mayest rise above.

Ride forth upon me as Thou didst ride into Jerusalem mounted upon the humble little beast, a colt, the foal of an ass, and let me hear the children cry to Thee, “Hossanna in the highest”

live in the same kind of car, sit on the same corner of dashboard, looking at the same direction.. giving attention to two of my beloved sisters.

Yes, I’m just a man with desires. Yes, I enjoy sex, but that was my past. I messed my life up before, and I won’t do so again. Yes, I want to enjoy sex again, but not now, later with my wife. Can I restrain my desires before that day come? With God I believe I can !!

A beautiful song isn’t it? How many stars up there in the sky? Do we even recognize them all? How tiny we are compare to this whole universe.

NGC 4862 is a beautiful 17 millions light year away star clusters in Coma Berenices constellation. It is calculated to formed around 1 billion years ago. Some people named it “Black Eye Galaxy” because of its spectacular dark band in front of its bright center.

Vega is one of the closest star to our sun. With only 25 light years away, it is one of the brightest star at night. It has an oval shape compare to our sun’s round shape.

Betelgeuse, an old giant star that expected to be exploded soon (‘soon’ in astronomy could be in million of years), is also one of the closest star to earth. He is so red that is easily spotted with telescope. When it explodes, it can outshine our moon at night.

Neutron stars are extremely small (around 12km radius) but extremely dense and heavy (heavier than our sun but only has 12km radius). Neutron stars exist after a gravitational collapse of a massive star during supernova (star explosion). PSR J1748-2446ad is an example of neutron star that rotates more than 700 times in a second.

Some unlucky exploded star ended up as black holes, sucking all things near it. So dense with extremely high gravitational force, even light can’t escape, and time altered.

There are more then 170 billion galaxies out there (with each of them houses up to 100 trillion stars!) with some new stars are still forming, and others exploding, radiate energies that can even bend the universe a bit.
